Lobster Festival - July 7th - 11th

Description:

Entertainment
Outdoor family entertainment is presented nightly, featuring magicians, well known local artists, national and international entertainers. A variety to please everyone.

Lobster Suppers
What would be a Lobster Festival without Lobster? We serve cold Lobster plates with all the trimmings in our Giant Lobster Trap tent every day during the festival. You can enjoy your Lobster supper while watching our Outdoor stage show.

Lobster Eating Contest
The highlight of the Lobster Festival is surely the Lobster Eating Contest. Every night we choose volunteers from the crowd to eat 3 Lobsters with their bare hands in the least time possible. Why not come & try your luck!!

Kids Day
Kids day is a very popular attraction. Kids in costumes participate in a parade in the streets of Shediac, arriving for judging at the Festival grounds. Every participant receives a treat bag, and each category winner receives very nice prizes. Activities on the Festival grounds are oriented towards the kids on this day. Kids and parents can also enjoy the Giant Midway on the Festival Grounds.

Mr. Lobster Festival mascot
Mr. Lobster the Festival mascot makes his grand arrival each year. During festival week Mr. Lobster can be seen everywhere in Town and on the Festival Grounds.

Shediac Lobster Festival children's parade
Our children's parade has been a tradition for many years. Hundreds of kids are invited each year to dress up in a costume and participate in the parade that takes place on Main Street. The children will all receive a surprise bag and many will be judged to win great prizes.
